I haven't posted since... Valentine's Day! Tons has happened since then, I have been incredibly busy. Found out we either had to move or our house would be forclosed on. So we put the house up for sale and it sold in less than two weeks. After that, we were in a scramble to find a place to live. Had to downsize, obviously, so we now have a nice apartment. We don't move in until the end of this month, though. We've gone crazy with packing, it's so stressful, my mom and I are constantly fighting whenever we have to organize stuff.
Moving has turned out to be a very bittersweet thing. I'm excited, but really sad to leave. I've lived in this house since the day I was born and living somewhere else is going to be very strange. At first, I felt like I wouldn't be able to feel at home anywhere but here. I've gotten better with that. I know that it'll just take some time to feel at home in our new place. It's very cozy and homey. It's technically an apartment, I guess... we're renting it. It's in a very old building, I think at one time it was two houses (like a twin) and then someone bought it and turned it into four spaces. Downstairs has a family room, a surprisingly large kitchen (which I am SO excited about!), a den, and a half bath. YES. A HALF BATH. I was so happy when I heard that. Upstairs is the master bedroom, a nice sized full bathroom, and then my room... which is very small and oddly shaped... with the door to the attic in it. Yeah, not so happy about that. Can't do anything about it, though... maybe put a heavy duty lock on it. I hate attics. It'll be cramped, but I'll make it my own. It's pretty exciting!
